Mahavatar Babaji..!!

Introduction:-

Mahavatar babaji is and yogi who was the founder of the kriya yoga ,Mahavatar Babaji's given name is unknown, so those who met him during that period all called him by the title first given to him by LahirÄ« mahasya who was babaji's disciple. "Mahavatar" means "great avatar", and "Babaji" simply means "revered father".

Mahavatar Babaji – a drawing fromAutobiography of a Yogi, commissioned by Yogananda and based on his own meeting with Babaji
Childhood:-

There are very few accounts of Babaji's childhood. One source of information is the book Babaji and the 18 Siddha Kriya Yoga tradition by Marshall Govindan.[7] According to Govindan, Babaji was named Nagarajan (king of serpents) by his parents. V.T. Neelakantan and S.A.A. Ramaiah founded on 17 October 1952, (they claim – at the request of Babaji) a new organization, "Kriya Babaji Sangah," dedicated to the teaching of Babaji's Kriya Yoga. They claim that in 1953 Mahavatar Babaji told them that he was born on 30 November 203 CE in a small coastal village now known as Parangipettai, Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu, India.

What is kriya yoga:-

Kriya Yoga, as taught by Lahiri Mahasaya, is traditionally exclusively learned via the Guru-disciple relationship and the initiation consists of a secret ceremony. He recounted that after his initiation into Kriya Yoga, "Babaji instructed me in the ancient rigid rules which govern the transmission of the yogic art from Guru to disciple."
As Yogananda describes Kriya Yoga, "The Kriya Yogi mentally directs his life energy to revolve, upward and downward, around the six spinal centers (medullary, cervical, dorsal, lumbar, sacral, and coccygeal plexuses) which correspond to the twelve astral signs of the zodiac, the symbolic Cosmic Man. One half-minute of revolution of energy around the sensitive spinal cord of man effects subtle progress in his evolution; that half-minute of Kriya equals one year of natural spiritual unfoldment."
In Kriya Quotes from Swami Satyananda, it is written, "Kriya sadhana may be thought of as the sadhana of the 'practice of being in Atman'"
Didn't you get it ok lets make it simple practice of kriya yoga makes us immortal not exactly immortal but we will go into a state that there is no rebirth as human.
